Job Description Summary

The Program Manager for the Southeast Market provides essential executive support, program coordination, project management, grants management, and operational oversight to strengthen the effectiveness of the Southeast team. This role supports market leadership and operations, while also supporting the planning, implementation and advancement of Southeast programs and initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with familiarity in affordable housing, community development, and/or economic development; has strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously; demonstrates strong communication and writing abilities; maintains exceptional attention to detail; and holds a deep commitment to Enterprise’s mission and values.

This position integrates high-level program responsibilities with executive administrative support to ensure smooth operations, effective coordination, and timely execution across all Southeast Market initiatives.

This is a hybrid role with a flexible schedule. Team members typically spend up to three days per week in the office and may occasionally need to adjust their schedule to support commitments outside of standard business hours.

Key Responsibilities


Executive Support & Department Coordination

  • Provide direct, high-level support to the Vice President & Market Leader, Southeast, while also supporting the broader Southeast Market team.

  • Manage complex executive calendar, ensuring proactive scheduling, prioritization, and clarity.

  • Coordinate all aspects of Market Leader appointments, meetings, events, conferences, and calls.

  • Coordinate executive travel, including itinerary preparation, meeting agendas, logistics, and documentation.

  • Prepare, reconcile, and track travel and expense reports.

  • Provide broad administrative coordination across the department, maintaining day-to-day market operations.

Program Coordination & Development Support

  • Assist in program development by participating in the planning and execution of program objectives, deliverables, and timelines.

  • Support competitive Request for Proposals (RFPs) by coordinating application intake, review processes, and documentation.

  • Conduct due diligence for pass-through grants and contracts, ensuring accurate routing and compliance.

  • Manage and support grantee relationships, including communication, progress tracking, deliverable review, and documentation.

  • Maintain organized program outcomes, budget, and performance trackers that inform program decisions and reporting.

  • Support planning and documentation for program processes, workflows, and implementation strategies.

Project Management & Initiative Implementation

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects across the Southeast Market, ensuring alignment with priorities and timelines.

  • Coordinate site visits, trainings, meetings, stakeholder engagements, and reporting cycles.

  • Track milestones and progress, and support timely follow-up.

  • Support day-to-day project coordination to ensure initiatives move forward smoothly and effectively.

Grant Intake, Review & Monitoring

  • Coordinate the intake, logging, tracking, and review of grant requests, program applications, and funding recommendations.

  • Maintain consistent documentation throughout review cycles, reporting requirements, and compliance expectations.

  • Maintain accurate program files.

Budget Management & Financial Coordination

  • Assist in monitoring and managing program budgets, expenditures, and financial tracking.

  • Ensure financial compliance through documentation, reconciliation, and coordination with internal teams.

  • Support leadership in developing budget summaries, reports, and forecasting materials.

Partner Interaction & Stakeholder Communication

  • Serve as a point of contact to investigate and resolve partner inquiries or concerns.

  • Maintain strong, responsive communication with external partners, grantees, consultants, and stakeholders.

  • Support relationship management through timely follow-up, documentation, and coordination.

Meeting, Event & Logistics Management

  • Plan and execute both in-person and virtual events, meetings, convenings, and trainings.

  • Manage all logistics: scheduling, agendas, material preparation, attendee communication, registration, and hospitality.

  • Oversee technical setup for virtual/hybrid meetings, including troubleshooting and AV coordination.

  • Coordinate vendor relationships, including event planners, caterers, facilitators, AV teams, and technical providers.

Vendor & Consultant Coordination

  • Track vendor deliverables, timelines, and communications.

  • Support procurement processes, including scopes of work, contracts, invoicing, and payments.

  • Ensure all vendor engagements meet project expectations and deadlines.

Data Systems, Tracking & Reporting

  • Design and maintain program data trackers, dashboards, and monitoring tools.

  • Support data pulls, formatting, dashboards, summaries, and analysis for presentations and reports.

  • Ensure documentation and reporting are accurate, consistent, and up to date.

Communications, Presentations & Market Visibility

  • Assist with the development of market newsletters, announcements, updates, communication pieces, and slide decks.

  • Support layout, design, branding, and formatting of presentations and outreach materials.

  • Coordinate with Communications & Marketing to ensure accuracy and message alignment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree and a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in program coordination, project management, operations, or executive support roles.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, WorkDay, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office 365.

  • Exceptional organizational ability with proven experience managing multiple competing priorities.

  • Willingness to assist with in person events to include the setup and breakdown of food, drinks, tables, chairs and any other supplies as needed.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience coordinating meetings, events, workflows, and cross-team activities.

  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and follow-through.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in affordable housing, community development, economic development, philanthropy, or related fields.

  • Experience with grantmaking, intake workflows, or RFP cycles.

  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. SharePoint).

  • Experience supporting communication materials and presentation development.

Total Rewards at Enterprise:

Enterprise offers a comprehensive total rewards package for you and your family.

The base salary for this role is $75,000 to $93,000, depending on level of skills and experience.

The salary range for this position is represented by the low and high end of the range for the amount to be paid for the position. Salaries paid at Enterprise will vary based on factors that may include skills, education, location, experience, and performance. The salary range is just a part of the total rewards package provided to employees at Enterprise, and other rewards may include annual performance bonuses and generous paid leave programs.
