Cycle Count Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of inventory items.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
• Accurately record and adjust inventory transactions in Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
• Analyze inventory variances and identify root causes.
• Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Maintain detailed documentation of counts, adjustments, and audit trails.
• Assist in developing and improving inventory control procedures.
• Support physical inventory audits and year-end counts.
• Monitor inventory levels and report inconsistencies or risks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or cycle counting.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (or similar ERP systems).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry.
• Ability to regularly lift boxes up to 50lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Knowledge of inventory auditing and reconciliation processes.
• Familiarity with barcode scanning systems and warehouse management systems (WMS).
