About This Position

Description:

Spooky Nook Sports is looking for a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Marketing & Sponsorship Coordinator to help grow our brand and partnerships. This role is ideal for someone eager to build their career at the intersection of creativity and business strategy. The Coordinator reports to the Corporate Director of Marketing & Sponsorship and will support both the marketing and sponsorship teams by driving marketing campaigns, assisting with partner outreach, and helping tell the story of the country’s largest indoor sports complex.

Essential Job Functions

· Create and manage engaging content for social media, email, and the Spooky Nook Sports website.

· Support marketing campaigns that drive awareness, traffic, and community engagement.

· Track results and share insights to improve performance.

· Build and edit proposals and presentations for prospective and returning partners.

· Research and qualify leads to grow the sponsorship pipeline.

· Assist with prospecting and outreach to connect with local and regional businesses.

· Work with internal teams to support events, activations, and promotions.

· Capture photos/video at events to showcase experiences across channels.

· Bring fresh ideas that push our marketing and sponsorship strategies forward.

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

· 1–2 years of marketing, communications, or sales experience preferred (internships or relevant projects count).

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Comfort with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and website editors (HubSpot experience a plus, but not required).

· Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.

· Team-oriented with a proactive, self-starter mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

· Excellent interpersonal skills; comfortable working with a wide range of people and businesses.

· Familiarity with email marketing tools (Constant Contact, HubSpot, or similar).

· Basic knowledge of WordPress or other website editors.

· Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; event management software experience a plus.

· Dependable, punctual, and guest-focused with a positive, professional attitude.

· Self-starter who can work independently, manage multiple projects, and take initiative.

· Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset and willingness to support others.

· Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to accuracy and quality.

· Ability to stay calm under pressure and communicate effectively across diverse groups.

Working Conditions

· Environment: Lively, high-energy sports and events complex with plenty of activity and large crowds; the role is primarily office-based.

· Physical Activity: A mix of desk work and movement around the facility; includes standing, sitting, bending, and reaching, with occasional light physical tasks.

· Lifting: Ability to lift, push, or move items up to 25 lbs. as part of event or office support.

· Noise Level: Dynamic and variable, especially during large events.

· Schedule: Flexibility to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays as events require.
