Compensation:$16 - $18 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive supervision and care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical development
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks suitable for children’s dietary needs
- Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, nap times, and playtime
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light cleaning and tidying up after children
- Support children with preschool activities, toddler care, infant care, and developmental milestones
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and handle minor emergencies efficiently
- Collaborate with parents to follow specific care instructions and communicate daily updates on children’s progress
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with disabilities
- Knowledge of childcare best practices, including child safety protocols and developmental activities
- Ability to perform first aid confidently and respond calmly in emergency situations
- Skilled in meal preparation tailored to children's nutritional requirements
- Experience with caregiving tasks such as diapering, feeding, potty training, and supervising playtime
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents and other caregivers
- Ability to maintain a clean environment through light cleaning duties related to childcare
- Enthusiastic teaching skills to support early childhood education initiatives
- Compassionate attitude with patience and understanding for children’s individual needs
