To help fuel that growth, we need a Product Manager for our Customer Activation team within the Conversion & Marketing Technologies area.
At Prima, customer data and marketing automation are the backbone of successful marketing and sales campaigns. This role is an opportunity to drive the evolution and adoption of our newly configured marketing automation platform Customer.io, helping the company move from manual work to automated processes, progressive integrations, and reduced engineering dependency in the Marketing and Sales areas.
You’ll partner closely with business analysts, engineers, marketing & sales managers across Italy and Spain (and eventually the UK) to shape the customer data that determine how millions of customers receive communications from Prima every day.

What you'll do- Own the product strategy and roadmap.
- Lead the marketing automation platform (Customer.io) roadmap by integrating the right data in the right way to the tool, and enable campaigns to be created and maintained much faster and more efficiently by business stakeholders.
- Convert business and technical problems into data products and platform configurations.
- Experience (3+ years) in product management or adjacent roles in software development, business analytics, driving products in complex technical domains.
- Strong quantitative skills: You think in numbers. You’re confident using data to analyse system performance, identify patterns, and make tough prioritisation decisions.
- Structured and analytical: You decompose the complexity into actionable
- insights, define measurable success criteria, and communicate with clarity.
Data fluency: You’re comfortable discussing data and analytics content with engineers and business analysts. - Adaptability, curiosity, proactivity: You thrive on learning, adjusting, and improving in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience with ecommerce or other direct-communication-heavy sectors.
- Previous experience with configurable CRM or marketing automation or similar systems such as Salesforce.com, Hubspot, Zendesk, or Customer.io
- Global mindset: Experience working across countries or multi-market products.
- Language skills: Business proficiency in Italian in addition to English.
- Technical foundation: Familiarity with SQL, programming, or software architecture is a plus — it helps you speak the same language as your partners.
