Deans of Culture at Rocky Mountain Prep Will…
- Lead the implementation of school-wide culture systems that promote safety, belonging, and high expectations, including restorative practices and behavior supports
- Ensure consistent, equitable application of discipline protocols aligned to anti-bias and inclusive practices
- Conduct frequent classroom walkthroughs to reinforce strong culture, provide feedback, and support joyful, academically focused environments
- Partner with instructional leaders and teachers to align behavioral expectations with rigorous academic goals
- Build authentic, trust-based relationships with students and families through home visits, proactive communication, and family partnership
- Collaborate with MTSS and attendance teams to analyze data and design Tier 1–3 interventions that increase engagement and reduce barriers to success
- Facilitate character development and social-emotional learning groups that build student agency, identity, and community
- Respond to behavioral incidents with urgency and care, including mediations, crisis response, and compliance with Title IX protocols
- Model and coach staff to uphold consistent, culturally responsive practices that sustain a safe, inclusive, and joyful school culture
All Members of the Mental Health Team at Rocky Mountain Prep will:
Advance the social-emotional, behavioral, and mental wellness of students through strengths-based, culturally responsive, and equity-driven practices grounded in a multi-tiered system of support. They proactively design and implement Tier 1, 2, and 3 interventions that promote safety, belonging, and academic access, while responding effectively to crisis and high-impact student needs.
These team members partner closely with families, educators, and community providers to remove barriers to learning, uphold student rights, and ensure compliance with all applicable special education and student services regulations. They use data to inform decisions, coach adults toward best practices, and serve as trusted advocates so that every scholar experiences dignity, connection, and the opportunity to thrive.
Requirements
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- At least five years of experience supporting behavior in a school environment (this may include classroom teaching experience)
- Ability to build strong relationships quickly with a variety of stakeholders, including students, families, and staff
- Strong organizational and self-management skills, with the ability to complete tasks on a deadline
- Pass a background check
- Demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States
Preferred:
- Special education experience
Salary
This is a full-time position with a salary range of $75,000 to $86,000, based on experience and qualifications.
