About This Position

Exceptional Community Hospital is seeking a Pharmacist to join our established pharmacy team. We're currently offering a $10K sign on bonus for a qualified full-time Pharmacist.

What You’ll Do

  • Interpret and clarify medication orders across all therapeutic areas
  • Provide drug information and clinical consultation during emergency codes
  • Monitor drug therapy and recommend therapeutic alternatives
  • Compound, label, and package medications following professional protocols
  • Manage controlled substance security and documentation
  • Maintain Omnicell automated dispensing systems
  • Ensure accurate medication billing and charge capture
  • Counsel patients and families on medication use, side effects, and safety
  • Support nursing staff with ongoing pharmaceutical education
  • Attend codes to assist clinical staff with medication dosing and preparation
What We’re Looking For
Required:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an AACP-accredited College of Pharmacy
  • Current Arizona Pharmacist license upon hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
