The JOB:

As a Beach Valet, you are more than a driver—you are an ambassador of the Del Mar beach lifestyle. This highly visible, guest-facing role allows you to connect with guests from around the world while helping them experience the best of our beaches, village, and local dining scene.

Beach Valet Ambassadors assist guests with transportation to and from the beach, around the Del Mar village, and to nearby restaurants and local highlights. You’ll safely operate our beach shuttle golf cart while prioritizing guest comfort, safety, and service excellence. Along the way, you’ll share insider tips, local knowledge, and hidden gems that transform a stay into a memorable experience.

To be successful in this role, you are a natural people connector who enjoys conversation, storytelling, and creating meaningful guest moments. You bring positive energy, confidence, and care to every interaction.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about the coastal lifestyle and Del Mar community
  • Has strong knowledge of local beaches, restaurants, and attractions (or is eager to learn)
  • Enjoys engaging with guests and building genuine connections
  • Takes guest safety and comfort seriously
  • Is responsible, reliable, and comfortable operating a golf cart
  • Thrives in an outdoor, guest-facing environment
  • Has flexibility to work weekends and holidays
