Position Summary: As a Quality Technician at Vytron, you will play a key role in supporting Production Operations by identifying, analyzing, and resolving quality issues. Your work will ensure our products consistently meet specifications and exceed customer expectations. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while upholding the company's quality principles and purpose.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support quality improvement initiatives to prevent nonconformities
  • Review specification changes and new product introductions for quality impact
  • Document data clearly to support issue resolution and decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and product specifications
  • Develop and maintain accurate quality records and documentation
  • Communicate and help resolve issues with nonconforming materials
  • Apply quality tools and assist in training team members as needed
  • Conduct product inspections and report findings
  • Participate in internal audits and 5S
  • Collaborate internally with other quality techs and production
  • Perform QA testing and processes
  • Represent the customer perspective in quality issue resolution
  • Apply root cause analysis to identify and resolve quality concerns
Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a production environment or a related college degree
  • At least 1 year of Quality Assurance experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to read and understand blueprint (GDT experience a plus)
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with quality and continuous improvement tools and structured problem-solving methodologies, including Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Voice of the Customer (VOC), Six Sigma, Lean principles, 5 Whys, or fish-bone diagrams.
