Versatile Maintenance Mechanic at C Global Inc – Nokomis, Florida

Position Summary

C Global Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Maintenance Mechanic who is equally comfortable working on automotive equipment and facility maintenance. This role is essential to maintaining the reliability of company vehicles and the functionality of company properties and job sites.

This is a hands-on, dynamic position—one day you may be performing brake repairs on fleet vehicles, and the next troubleshooting plumbing, electrical, or structural issues within company facilities. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality work across multiple disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

Automotive Maintenance

Perform routine maintenance on company fleet (oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services). Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues (brakes, suspension, starters, batteries, etc.). Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and operational standards. Maintain accurate service and maintenance records. Facility & Property Maintenance

Perform general repairs including drywall, painting, and door hardware. Handle basic plumbing (leaks, faucet replacements) and electrical work (switches, outlets, lighting fixtures). Conduct preventive and seasonal maintenance (HVAC filter changes, pressure washing, gutter cleaning). Assist with minor construction or renovation projects as needed. General Maintenance Duties

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on tools, equipment, and machinery. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement timely, effective solutions. Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and work orders. Maintain organized records of maintenance, repairs, and inventory. Ensure compliance with all safety standards and company policies. Travel between job sites and company locations as required. Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in automotive repair and general maintenance or handyman work. Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues independently. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Preferred Qualifications

ASE certification or technical/trade school training. Experience with HVAC, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems. Welding or fabrication experience. Familiarity with maintenance tracking systems (CMMS). Experience in construction or industrial environments. Skills & Competencies

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage a variety of tasks and adapt to changing priorities. Mechanical aptitude across automotive and facility systems. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Self-motivated with a strong “can-do” attitude. Work Environment

This position involves working in a variety of environments, including automotive shop settings, construction sites, and residential or commercial facilities. The role requires regular exposure to mechanical equipment, tools, and varying weather conditions. Work may be performed indoors and outdoors and may include exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and temperature fluctuations.

The position is physically demanding and requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and using tools for extended periods. Travel between job sites is required.

FLSA Classification

This position is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Employees in this role are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable federal and state laws.
