Field Laborer

Job Duties:

• Work as a team to safely achieve profitable job completion
• Operate various hand tools and power tools
• Perform a variety of physical labor activities
• Operate hand and power tools such as jackhammers, compactors, saws, and drills
• Assist with site preparation, grading support, and trenching activities
• Handle materials and maintain a clean and organized job site
• Assist skilled trades such as carpenters, pipe layers, and concrete crews
• Follow construction plans, blueprints, grade stakes, and site markings
• Support concrete and asphalt work including mixing, pouring, and finishing assistance
• Promotes a safe and positive work environment
• Occasional overnight travel

Physical Requirements

• Work in all types of adverse weather
• Must have sufficient physical stamina to perform construction type work such as lifting and carrying approximately 90 pounds, bending, stooping, climbing in and around construction equipment for 8-12 hour shifts

• Valid Driver’s License
• Satisfactory criminal background check for job access
• Experience assisting with pipe laying or civil construction projects (preferred)
• Experience operating construction equipment i.e. skid steer or excavator (preferred)
