Fleet & Inventory Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and driven Fleet & Inventory Manager to oversee all aspects of fleet operations and warehouse inventory management. This role is responsible for vehicle lifecycle management, maintenance programs, compliance, fuel and GPS systems, purchasing, and inventory control.

This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for someone who thrives in operations, cost control, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Fleet Management

• Manage full fleet lifecycle: acquisition, upfitting, deployment, and disposal
• Oversee preventive maintenance (PM) programs and repairs
• Ensure licensing, titling, registration, and compliance requirements are met
• Administer GPS/telematics systems and reporting
• Manage fuel card programs and monitor usage/spend
• Control fleet costs and improve uptime

Inventory & Purchasing

• Oversee warehouse purchasing and vendor relationships
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and conduct audits
• Forecast material needs and prevent shortages/overstock
• Implement inventory control systems and processes
• Negotiate pricing and manage supply agreements

Qualifications

• 5+ years of fleet, logistics, operations, or inventory management experience
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and compliance standards
• Experience managing fuel cards and GPS systems
• Inventory control and purchasing experience required
• Proficient in Excel and fleet/inventory software systems
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Preferred

• Experience in construction, plumbing, HVAC, or service industries
• DOT compliance knowledge
• ERP or inventory management software experience
