About This Position
The Shift Lead at Nothing Bundt Cakes oversees daily bakery operations, supports team development, ensures high-quality guest experiences, and assists the Bakery Manager in leadership and operational responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Bakery Manager to lead all aspects of the guest experience, cake production, merchandise presentation, and work environment. 2Prioritize guest satisfaction, model superior engagement, and foster a positive, welcoming atmosphere. 1Support team training, direct daily work responsibilities, provide feedback, and coach team members. 1Ensure bakery operations comply with Nothing Bundt Cakes standards, including product quality, service, visual merchandising, and food safety. 1Co-manage special orders for individual and corporate clients, including large or complex orders and deliveries. 1Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash-drawer balancing and bank deposits. 1Maintain hands-on knowledge of all bakery roles and step in as needed to support operations. 2 SourcesCore Values and Leadership CompetenciesDemonstrate strong interpersonal skills, guest focus, and the ability to motivate and communicate effectively. 1Delegate tasks, set clear expectations, and manage team performance. 1Exhibit organization, resourcefulness, problem-solving skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities. 1Lead by example with humility, empathy, and a commitment to excellence. 2 SourcesQualifications and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education is a plus. 11–3 years of guest-facing experience in retail, restaurant, or foodservice, preferably in a lead or managerial role. 1Proven success in creating superior guest experiences, coaching team members, and achieving productivity goals. 1Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with comfort learning new technologies. 1 SourceWork Schedule and AvailabilityMust be flexible to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. 2The role involves maintaining an upbeat atmosphere and supporting team morale throughout shifts. xx
