Boston Government Services, LLC. (BGS) is seeking a remote Marketing Assistant 1 to support our Corporate Office in Oak Ridge, TN.

Primary Responsibilities:

Support Executive and Leadership Teams with administrative tasks, including:

  • Support content creation for market research activities.
  • Support content creation of corporate documents (e.g., presentations, meeting materials, corporate reports, correspondence, etc.)
  • Coordinate registrations/logistics for conferences and tradeshows, including exhibiting, sponsoring, and travel arrangements.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings and meeting logistics.
  • Support procurement research activities.
  • Support updates to website content.
  • Support content creation for social media accounts (e.g., LinkedIn) and email Content Management System (CMS).
  • Support development of marketing materials (e.g., cutsheets, brochures, case studies, business cards, newsletters, advertisements, and press releases) – coordinate and track deliverables.
  • Other marketing and administrative job duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements:

  • Batchlor’s Degree or higher and/or 5+ years relative experience in Marketing, Business, or Administration.
  • Must be US Citizen or able to legally work in the United States.
  • Must successfully pass background drug screening.
  • Have sound knowledge of the English language and ability to read/write/communicate effectively.
  • Must maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • At least 7 years performing in a similar function (marketing, business, or as an administrative assistant).
  • Experience performing administrative tasks for multiple individuals.
  • Ability to handle matters expeditiously and proactively, meet deadlines, and follow-through on projects to successful completion and exercise sound judgment and decision-making.
  • Detail oriented work ethic and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously in strict confidentiality.
  • Advanced computer skills (Word, Outlook (including Calendar), Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Power Point, Visio, etc.)
  • Proficient knowledge creating various forms of marketing materials (e.g., flyers, brochures, display banner, website content, press releases, etc.)
  • Proficient knowledge in creating content for social media.
  • Proficient knowledge of LinkedIn.
  • Proficient knowledge of social media best practices, trends, and platform changes.
  • Experience using graphic design software preferable (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)

Location/Work Arrangement:

  • This position is Remote with the option of onsite/travel as needed.

Physical Demands:

  • This role requires frequent sitting, standing, and use of hands and fingers to operate tools or controls. Reasonable accommodation is available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.

Hours of Work:

  • Must be available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.

Starting compensation for this role’s typical salary ranges between ($50,000) and ($55,000) annually and is commensurate with experience relative to the position and may vary based on candidate geographical location.
