Shift Schedule:
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Saturday as required
Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
We are seeking qualified candidates for Blend Line Operator positions on our B Shift team. This role is responsible for ensuring assigned production lines meet all quality and customer specifications while supporting safe and efficient operations.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong teamwork, effective communication skills, and the ability to provide feedback and direction within the scope of the role.
SUMMARY
Responsible for daily operations of the Blend Line(s).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned to attain production goals.
Responsible for:
- Safety precautions are taken at all times during the operation of the equipment.
- Specified fiber is placed at the correct specified blend line hopper/dispenser in accordance to, AMACON, the in-house blend line verification system.
- Lock-out, tag-out locations and proper safety procedure for lock-out, tag-out.
- Knowledge of all grades on WTB master blend, along with their fiber content for each assigned production line.
- The dentification of all fiber types on WTB inventory, location and per pound price of each.
- The raw materials are visually acceptable in accordance to the customer specification.
- Production records are completed and turned in to management for each order produced during the shift.
- Identification of all mechanical and electrical parts of blend-line.
- Able to acquire 100% knowledgeability of Blend-line Amacon system and every function related.
- Department remains clean. Cleaning documentation should be completed to show verification of cleaning.
- Raw materials are available for operations on incoming shift.
- All nonconformance materials/issues are communicated to management and are documented on production records. These materials also should be segregated.
- Production requirements for each product and met by importance of maintaining a level of 85% to 100% production efficiency.
- Learn and understand the importance of first grade prime fiber, and the revenue impact it has when converted to Regar.
- May assist in new hires or transfer job training.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
There are no supervisory responsibilities with this position.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to count, add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able to read and interpret tape measure. Attention to detail is required.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strongly prefer 4 years in manufacturing environment operating machine equipment successfully.
- Understands blending processes, understands Feeds, Speeds, LOTO, etc.
- Familiar with manufacturing safety policies, procedures, etc.
- Basic computer skills are preferred. General MS Office preferred.
- Read, write and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Complete production documents for traceability.
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Good attendance is a condition of employment and required
- Work well with others. Takes direction and feedback for improvements.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Fork Truck driving license experience required.
