A day in the life...
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our Hospitality team. In this role, the HR coordinator is responsible for assisting the HR leader with the H2B & J1 program summer season. Assist as needed with various tasks such as recruiting, hiring, training, and event planning. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, customer-service focused, and familiar with hospitality. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), is not afraid to speak in front of a crowd, and can maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all situations. This is a seasonal position until October 2026.
Key Accountabilities:
- Assist Human Resource Manager with recruiting, onboarding, training, and event planning.
- Coordinate the J1 international program, such as transportation, housing, and community outings.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance and legal requirements
- Respond to team members and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
The ideal candidate will have:
- Must be at least 18 years or old.
- Must have a valid driver license.
- 1 year of Human Resources, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- High School Diploma or equivalent. A college degree is preferred.
- Have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to seamlessly perform and prioritize multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge in Paylocity, E-verify, Hotel Effectiveness, and Acamatica.
