Job overview:
Schneider is seeking an Entry Level Claims Adjuster in Green Bay to investigate, analyze and resolve claims and incidents. The Claims Adjuster will negotiate claims involving property, injuries, freight, workers compensation and subrogation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage initial and ongoing field investigations.
- Secure all necessary information to properly evaluate claims made against Schneider.
- Act as the single point of contact for all parties involved in managing a claim.
- Review claims for negligence, liability exposure, damages, subrogation potential, fraud and more.
- Ensure actions and strategies are executed that will provide the best overall outcome for the organization.
- Accurately document all claims activities.
- Manage vendors and validate supplier invoices prior to payment.
Skills and qualifications:
- Associate degree or paralegal certificate
- 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills.
