About the Role:
The Production Supervisor I for the Weekend Shift plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing facility during nighttime hours. This position is responsible for overseeing production processes, managing team performance, and ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards. The supervisor will implement safety protocols and foster a positive work environment to enhance team morale and productivity. Additionally, this role involves troubleshooting production issues and coordinating with other departments to optimize workflow. Ultimately, the Production Supervisor will contribute to the overall success of manufacturing operations by ensuring production goals are consistently and effectively achieved.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of production processes and safety regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in a related field.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and practices.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers on the Weekend shift to ensure efficient operations.
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as necessary to meet production targets.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Provide training and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with management and other departments to address production challenges and implement improvements.
