Greens Maintenance Worker Fox Hopyard Golf Club – East Haddam, CT

⛳ About the Role ⛳Do you enjoy working outdoors in a unique and challenging environment? Fox Hopyard Golf Club is looking for hardworking, focused individuals to join our maintenance crew. As a key member of our team, you will help maintain our premier 18-hole private golf facility, ensuring a memorable experience for our members.

Key Responsibilities 🏌️Perform manual labor to maintain the golf course grounds.

Operate maintenance equipment including walk mowers, riding mowers, and string trimmers.

Utilize backpack blowers, rakes, and other tools for daily course upkeep.

Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting over 50 pounds.

Work effectively in all weather conditions.

Requirements 🚩Must be eligible for employment in the United States.

Reliable transportation is required.

Strong communication skills regarding scheduling (2-week notice for changes).

Punctuality: Expected to be on-site 10 minutes before the scheduled start of the shift.

Shift Schedule ⛳ Peak Season (April – November):

Monday – Friday: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM

Weekends: One 4-hour shift (Saturday or Sunday), 5:00 AM – 9:00 AM

Off-Season (December – March):

Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Weekends: Only as needed for snow removal.
