About This Position
Position Summary
Blume Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced Outreach Coordinator to help expand awareness of our residential treatment program for adolescents ages 12–17. This role focuses on developing and maintaining referral relationships with professionals and organizations that support teens and families in need of mental health care.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the behavioral health field and a strong existing network that includes hospitals, school districts, tribal social service programs, and community-based organizations. This individual should be comfortable representing Blume in professional settings, building trust with referral partners, and educating stakeholders about our clinical approach and services.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Conduct community outreach to schools, medical providers, community organizations, and social service agencies
· Develop and maintain referral relationships to support program enrollment
· Represent the organization at health fairs, community events, and stakeholder meetings
· Educate community partners on available behavioral health services and eligibility criteria
· Track outreach efforts, referral activity, and engagement outcomes
· Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support intake and access to care
· Assist with marketing initiatives, presentations, and outreach materials
· Ensure outreach activities comply with HIPAA and organizational policies
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, Human Services, or related field (or equivalent experience)
· Minimum 3 years of outreach, community engagement, care coordination, or behavioral health experience
· Knowledge of behavioral health systems, particularly mental health and/or substance use services
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently in the community
