Working Schedule: 6:00AM-4:30PM Monday-Thursday with regular Friday OT required.
Summary
Responsible for conducting a variety of tests and inspections to ensure the quality and performance of environmental test chambers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Actively reads and interprets simple refrigeration and electrical circuit drawings as part of daily responsibilities.
· Routinely identifies and inspects refrigeration valves on a daily basis.
· Performs volt, amp, and ohm checks using electrical meters daily.
· Cleans and prepares chambers for shipment as assigned.
· Assists with the loading and unloading of simulated test products (AL billets) as assigned.
· Connects and disconnects water and electrical utilities as directed.
· Regularly utilizes a variety of hand tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and tape measures, in daily tasks.
· Performs other routine duties as assigned.
· Regular physical attendance is required.

Education
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
· EPA Type 1 and Type 2 certifications are required.
· This position requires either a 1-year Refrigeration Certificate, an Associate's Degree in Electrical/Electronics, or a minimum of two years of hands-on experience working within the Test Department of a test chamber manufacturing or service company.
Skills and Experience
· Ability to read a tape measure required.
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide required.
· Basic computer skills preferred.
· Some refrigeration and electrical experience preferred.
