This role offers the opportunity to lead complex engineering projects for mission-critical data center initiatives, overseeing all aspects from planning and proposal development to execution and delivery. You will manage multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and subcontractors while maintaining client satisfaction through clear communication, high-quality deliverables, and strong relationship management. The position requires strategic oversight of project schedules, budgets, and risk, ensuring timely and successful outcomes across multiple simultaneous projects. You will also contribute to business development through proposal support and identification of new opportunities. This is a highly collaborative, client-facing role, with some travel to project and client sites required. The role is ideal for an experienced engineering project manager seeking to impact high-stakes data center operations and deliver innovative solutions.

• Lead engineering projects from proposal development through execution, managing schedules, budgets, risk, and scope to ensure successful project outcomes
• Serve as the primary liaison with clients, maintaining strong relationships and providing exceptional service and professionalism
• Oversee engineers, designers, and subcontractors, ensuring quality deliverables that meet internal and client standards
• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including work breakdown structures, communication strategies, and risk mitigation approaches
• Support business development through proposal preparation, project scope management, and identification of new client opportunities
• Monitor contract compliance, financial performance, and project metrics, reporting on progress and implementing recovery plans when needed
• Travel to client facilities as required to coordinate project execution and on-site activities

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering OR PMP certification with 10 years of experience in engineering consulting, project management, or data center operations
• Minimum of 6 years of experience managing engineering projects or working as an engineer in consulting or data center environments
• PMP certification preferred; experience with hyperscale data centers is a plus
• Skilled in proposal development, cost/workhour estimating, scope, schedule, and budget management for multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of earned value management, contract language, and reporting practices
• Strong organizational, strategic planning, and team coordination skills
• Excellent written, technical, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across disciplines and teams
• Proficient with MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to travel 10%-15% for fieldwork or client site visits
