Associate Director, Strategic Accounts

This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, key account leadership, and healthcare innovation within the MedTech vision sector. You will be responsible for driving growth across strategic customer partnerships by shaping joint business plans and long-term commercial strategies. The position requires a strong ability to influence senior stakeholders across internal and external ecosystems in a highly matrixed environment. You will lead initiatives that span omnichannel commerce, digital transformation, and marketplace expansion. This is a remote role within the continental United States, with up to 50% domestic travel. It offers the opportunity to directly impact market share, revenue performance, and customer experience at scale. The environment is fast-evolving, data-driven, and highly collaborative.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans that drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability across key customer partnerships
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver integrated commercial and omnichannel solutions
  • Design and optimize partnerships including pricing strategies, incentives, marketing programs, rebates, and service models
  • Drive adoption and scaling of digital and eCommerce capabilities within large marketplace and omnichannel ecosystems
  • Identify emerging market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer needs to proactively shape go-to-market strategies
  • Oversee performance metrics and KPIs, ensuring delivery of financial and operational objectives
  • Partner on supply chain and operational efficiency initiatives to improve customer and enterprise value
  • Develop and manage third-party partnerships to expand ecosystem reach and value creation
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in sales, marketing, strategic accounts, or business development within MedTech, healthcare, or related industries
  • Proven experience in strategic account management and joint business planning with large enterprise customers
  • Strong understanding of omnichannel strategy, eCommerce platforms, and digital commerce ecosystems
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to influence without authority and drive cross-functional alignment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify insights, and support strategic decisions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to challenge the status quo, lead change, and operate effectively in complex matrix environments
  • Strong business acumen with experience managing financial performance and account-level P&L considerations
