Full-Time Intake Counselor (Former Student / ADC-T / LADC)

Fellowship Recovery | St. Louis Park, MN

Fellowship Recovery is an outpatient treatment program based in the Twin Cities, offering co-occurring (substance use disorder and mental health) services in a supportive, growth-oriented environment. Our Intake and Admissions team plays a critical role in welcoming new clients into our programs, ensuring safe, timely, and compliant entry into services across our locations.

This Role

The Full-Time Intake Counselor is a core member of the Intake and Admissions team, responsible for managing client intakes, coordinating admissions, and supporting the overall intake workflow across programs. This role plays a key part in ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance in the admissions process while maintaining a high level of client care and communication.

This is a full-time position with consistent scheduling and a central role in supporting program access and flow.

Job Type & Schedule
  • Status: Full-Time, Exempt
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday
  • Location: St. Louis Park
Compensation & Benefits

Salary Structure (based on licensure status):

  • Former Student (no ADC-T or LADC yet but in the works): $58,000 annually
  • ADC-T Licensed: $60,000 annually
  • LADC Licensed: $62,000 – $65,000 annually (based on experience and licensure)

Compensation adjustments will be made upon verification of licensure.

Primary Duties
  • Complete client intake assessments and admissions documentation
  • Coordinate intake scheduling and communicate admission status to clinical teams
  • Ensure clients are safely and appropriately transitioned into services
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant intake documentation
  • Communicate with referral sources, families, and internal staff as needed
  • Manage intake workflow and support coverage needs across programs
  • Ensure compliance with MN Statutes 245G and applicable licensure requirements
  • Follow all Fellowship Recovery policies, training plans, and compliance procedures
Experience & Requirements
  • ADC-T required within 90 days of starting in the role, if not currently licensed
  • Background or experience in substance use disorder or mental health services preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
  • Professional judgment, reliability, and a client-centered approach
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
