This senior leadership role sits at the intersection of Finance, Sales, and Go-To-Market strategy, acting as the key commercial finance authority for a global, cloud-driven organization. You will partner closely with executive leadership, including the CFO and CRO, to shape deal strategy, govern incentives, and ensure that revenue growth translates into sustainable profitability. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on financial rigor across pricing, deal structuring, and commission governance. You will lead the Commission Committee and define the financial frameworks that guide global incentive plans. Operating in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, you will play a critical role in balancing growth ambitions with margin discipline and long-term value creation. This is a highly visible position where your insights directly influence commercial decisions at the highest level.
In this role, you will act as the commercial finance lead across global GTM operations, ensuring financial discipline in deal execution and incentive design while partnering with senior stakeholders to drive profitable growth:
- Serve as Finance authority within Deal Desk for complex, strategic, and non-standard commercial transactions
- Partner with Sales and GTM leadership to structure deals balancing growth, margin, risk, and cash flow impact
- Define pricing, discounting, and commercial governance frameworks, including financial guardrails and approval thresholds
- Lead and chair the global Commission Committee, owning incentive governance, policies, and decision frameworks
- Design, model, and evaluate sales incentive plans to ensure alignment with profitability and strategic objectives
- Oversee commission payout governance in collaboration with Accounting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness
- Act as key Finance partner to CRO and GTM leadership, linking bookings performance to financial outcomes and enterprise value
- Build advanced financial models and reporting frameworks to analyze deal economics, margins, and scenario impacts
- Drive continuous improvement in commercial finance processes, controls, and reporting consistency at a global scale
This role requires a seasoned commercial finance leader with deep expertise in GTM environments, strong analytical capability, and proven executive-level influence:
- 7–10+ years of experience in Commercial Finance, Sales Finance, GTM Finance, or Deal Strategy leadership roles
- Proven ownership of commission governance and experience influencing incentive plan design at scale
- Strong understanding of bookings mechanics, deal economics, pricing structures, and revenue recognition principles
- Experience partnering with CRO-level stakeholders and senior executive leadership in a high-growth environment
- Advanced financial modeling skills with ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights
- Background in SaaS, cloud, marketplace, or reseller-based business models strongly preferred
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to influence cross-functional and executive teams
