Description

Revolution is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Manufacturing to lead operations across multiple manufacturing facilities in several states. This role will support key facilities in Terre Haute, Indiana and Flint, Michigan, and candidates must be located within reasonable driving distance of both locations. This highly visible leadership position will be responsible for driving operational excellence, improving manufacturing performance, and leading plant leadership teams to deliver on safety, quality, cost, and productivity goals.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and forward-thinking leader who can balance strategic oversight with hands-on operational leadership while ensuring alignment across multiple facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership, direction, and operational oversight to multiple manufacturing facilities across several states.
  • Partner closely with Plant Managers and site leadership teams to drive operational excellence, safety performance, quality standards, and productivity improvements.
  • Develop and execute manufacturing strategies that align with company goals for growth, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, process optimization, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, and Distribution leaders to ensure seamless coordination and execution.
  • Oversee production planning, materials management, inventory control, and manufacturing scheduling to support operational efficiency.
  • Drive accountability through performance metrics, KPIs, and operational reporting across all sites.
  • Lead the development of annual operational plans and forecasts, including analysis of trends, performance metrics, and budget management.
  • Champion safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards across facilities.
  • Support the implementation and integration of new systems, technologies, and operational processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and lead corrective actions to improve operational performance and prevent recurrence.
  • Present operational updates, performance insights, and strategic initiatives to executive leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, standard operating procedures, and best practices across all locations.
  • Lead and mentor plant leadership teams, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • A minimum of ten years' experience in an Operations leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing environment with hands-on experience directing the process, including the planning of procurement, production, inventory control, forecasting, scheduling, logistics, and distribution.
  • Experience working as a Plant Manager is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, intellectual curiosity, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with analytical, spreadsheets, presentations, and word processing software (Microsoft Office).
  • Must possess excellent listening, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Must have a strong customer service focus.
  • Be disciplined and collaborate well with others to find innovative ways to deliver additional value while finding new or adhering to processes that preserve our environment.
  • Some travel is required.
