Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties that include responsibilities for cleaning assigned areas inside and outside of the property, repairing maintenance tools, performing basic landscaping duties, and inspecting utility projects. This position will also serve as support for the manufacturing department and will be responsible for the trash compressor/disposal.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Emptying trash and recycling bins.
- Preparation to include scrubbing, scraping, cleaning, washing, wire brushing, sweeping, and painting.
- Removing debris/snow from sidewalks.
- Operate various equipment and vehicles as needed.
- Clean the interior of the facility building including floors, carpet, rugs, restrooms, windows, and walls.
- Provides general maintenance support to special events.
- Other duties as directed by Supervisor.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Manufacturing equipment experience
- Must be able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous waste.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Assertive self-starter who can motivate others with a strong sense of urgency and energy level in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge necessary to understand basic operational, technical, or office processes.
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment and techniques.
- Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.
- Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
