Position Summary:
We are seeking a Full-Time Personal Care Aide (PCA Certified) for 1st Shift. The ideal candidate will assist residents with activities of daily living, promote comfort and safety, and support their independence in a respectful and professional manner.

Schedule:
Full Time
1st Shift
Weekend and holiday availability required

Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility), including individuals with dementia and memory care needs
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful engagement tailored to residents with cognitive impairments
- Observe, document, and report resident care, behaviors, changes in condition, and unmet needs—especially those related to dementia or memory decline—to supervisors
- Ensure a safe, calm, and clean environment that supports residents who may experience confusion, wandering, or agitation
- Respond promptly and patiently to resident requests and needs, using redirection and supportive communication techniques when appropriate
- Work collaboratively with staff to provide high-quality, resident-centered care within the Memory Care program and broader community

Qualifications:
- Current PCA Certification (required)
- Previous caregiving or healthcare experience preferred
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to meet physical demands of the role (standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs)
