Your Impact as Service Technician

As our Service Technician, you'll be the hands-on expert residents count on to keep their homes comfortable and well-maintained. You're not just completing work orders—you're creating exceptional living experiences through your technical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality. What You'll Do

Deliver Exceptional Service

  • Respond to resident service requests by diagnosing problems and completing repairs promptly
  • Document all work accurately so service history is properly tracked
  • Represent FAM Residential through outstanding customer service

Apply Your Expertise

  • Transform vacant apartments into move-in ready homes through the full make-ready process
  • Conduct pre-move-out inspections and create punch lists for needed work
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
  • Complete repairs in accordance with safety standards and code requirements

Maintain the Community

  • Keep grounds, common areas, and amenities in excellent condition
  • Perform general cleaning, pressure washing, painting, and debris removal
  • Conduct routine property inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns
  • Inspect vendor and contractor work to ensure quality standards are met

Support Operational Excellence

  • Track inventory and communicate reorder needs to your supervisor
  • Practice cost-control by repairing rather than replacing when possible
  • Participate in safety meetings and complete required OSHA training
  • Report accidents and incidents promptly and accurately
What Makes You a Great Fit

Your Experience & Credentials

  • 1+ year of maintenance experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • EPA Type I and II (or Universal) certification preferred
  • Any additional certifications required by state or local jurisdiction

Your Skills & Mindset

  • Experience with Yardi or similar multifamily property management software preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge across multiple maintenance disciplines
  • Customer service excellence—you genuinely care about resident satisfaction
  • Ability to work any shift, Sunday through Saturday
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
