The Registered Nurse (RN) IIl is directly responsible and accountable to the Outpatient Department/Branch Manager for administering and supervising good nursing care in all outpatient departments; utilizing a systematic approach to nursing by assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, thus providing continuing health care to individuals, families and communities.

The RN Ill is responsible for the medical supervision of all other non-RN nursing personnel within the department worked, including, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified and Non-Certified Technicians, and Nurse Aides. (RN’s are not permitted by the Ohio Board of Nursing to medically supervise a Certified Medical Assistant.)

Education, Work Experience and Licensure:
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN license recognized by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Have current/or obtain ACLS and/or BLS within ninety (90) days.
