This role offers the opportunity to shape pricing strategy and drive monetization insights for enterprise SaaS offerings. The Strategic Pricing Analyst will analyze transactional, financial, competitive, and product usage data to identify pricing opportunities, optimize packages, and guide business decisions. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and partner relations, to ensure pricing strategies align with market dynamics and customer value. The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with large datasets, and the ability to translate complex findings into actionable recommendations. The analyst will monitor market trends, assess price elasticity, and provide insights to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction. This position combines strategic thinking with hands-on quantitative analysis in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Analyze complex transactional, financial, competitive, and product usage data to inform pricing decisions
- Develop and optimize pricing models, including willingness to pay, price elasticity, and segmentation analyses
- Identify key value drivers from the customer perspective and recommend optimal pricing strategies
- Monitor and report on pricing performance, trends, and adoption of pricing playbooks
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to maintain pricing competitiveness
- Collaborate with sales, product, and partner teams to evaluate pricing changes and communicate impact
- Generate reports and dashboards to visualize pricing, discounts, and revenue metrics for strategic decision-making
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a pricing analyst role, preferably in an enterprise SaaS environment
- At least 3 years analyzing large datasets using statistical and financial modeling tools
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to convey complex pricing insights clearly
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or a combination of equivalent experience and education
- Experience with pricing optimization concepts, segmentation, and value-based pricing approaches
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while managing multiple priorities
