💲 Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Mickey Truck Bodies is seeking a motivated Forklift Operator who will be responsible for safely operating powered industrial equipment to move materials and maintain accurate inventory throughout the production facility. This role ensures timely delivery of materials to production areas, supports inventory accuracy, and maintains a clean and safe work environment while meeting productivity and quality standards.

What you’ll do:

  • Safely operate a forklift and body mover equipment to transport materials throughout the facility.
  • Load and unload trailers while ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently.
  • Move large materials inside and outside of buildings, including across gravel terrain.
  • Pull, pick, and prepare inventory for production based on work orders.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts using RF handheld scanners.
  • Ensure proper stock rotation and complete inventory transfers in the system.
  • Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Read and interpret work orders, safety rules, operational manuals, and written instructions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace daily.
  • Operate additional equipment as needed to perform job duties.
  • Maintain productivity and quality standards while adhering to all safety guidelines.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

What we’re looking for:

  • Ability to safely operate a forklift, including extended forks.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety rules, and operational documents.
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations, including fractions.
  • Experience using RF handheld scanners.
  • Ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Ability to work independently and complete assignments within prescribed routines and standard practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Ability to maintain a safe work environment and meet productivity goals.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to communicate clearly
  • Requires ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
  • Requires ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, crawl and kneel
  • Specific vision ability required includes close, distance, color, and peripheral vision with depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to work around machinery of all types
  • Comfortable working in a noisy manufacturing environment
