Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) at MacKay Sposito – Roseville, California

MacKay Sposito is seeking a full-time Survey Technician - LSIT to join our Land Surveying team in Roseville, CA. Project experience in land development & infrastructure surveying, and an interest in growth within the discipline are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process survey data from GPS, scanners, and total stations.
• Draft boundary, topographic and construction surveys.
• Assist with survey crew lineout.
• Prepare survey reports & deliverables.
• Ensure QA/QC and adherence to standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• LSIT certification required (passed FS exam).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D required.
• Familiarity with GIS.
• Understanding of Survey principles and procedures.
• Collaboration with the team, engineers and project managers.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Trimble Business Center preferred.
• Must be a highly motivated individual with strong attention to detail.
• Field work experience preferred.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as various market and business considerations.

The wage range for this position is $30-60/hr depending on experience.

Full-time employees receive a well-rounded benefit package including access to our company-sponsored Medical (including an HSA High Deductible option), Dental, Vision, FSA, and Supplemental Life Insurance plans. MacKay Sposito pays for expenses associated with licensure as well as annual performance bonuses.
