DSCC 2026 Summer Internship
The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) is the only committee solely dedicated to electing a Democratic Senate. The DSCC works to protect our Senate Democratic incumbents and expand the majority. DSCC Interns will be assigned to a specific department at the DSCC, but will not be guaranteed and may be asked to work with additional departments.
The DSCC is seeking applicants for the 2026 DSCC Summer Internship Program. The DSCC Internship program is open, on an equal opportunity basis, to a diverse array of applicants, with diversity understood broadly to encompass individuals from different backgrounds, experiences, traditions, and socioeconomic circumstances.
Dates: Internship orientation will begin on June 1, 2026, in Washington, DC. The internship program will run from the beginning of June to either July 31st or August 14th. The expectation is that all selected individuals will complete the entire program length.
Hours: DSCC Interns are expected to work 20 hours per week for the duration of the internship.
Pay: Interns are paid an equivalent to an hourly rate of $22/ hour. If you are in a college program where you are not permitted to be paid for an internship, you may still apply.
Location: This is not a remote work opportunity. All Interns are required to be in the D.C. / Maryland / Virginia area. Housing is not provided. You will be asked to work out of the DSCC office, located on Capitol Hill.
