This leadership role is responsible for driving strategic growth and long-term value across a portfolio of high-impact healthcare and benefits clients. You will oversee account strategy, client relationships, and performance execution while ensuring alignment between service delivery, financial objectives, and customer satisfaction. Acting as a senior partner to executive stakeholders, you will translate complex healthcare solutions into measurable business outcomes. The role combines commercial leadership, operational oversight, and consultative expertise within a fast-paced, client-facing environment. You will also guide and develop account management teams, ensuring excellence in delivery and continuous improvement. This position is ideal for a strategic leader who thrives on building trusted relationships and driving scalable business growth in a complex, regulated industry.
- Lead strategic account planning and execution across a portfolio of key clients, ensuring alignment with revenue, retention, and growth objectives.
- Manage and develop account management teams, providing coaching, performance oversight, and leadership to ensure high-quality client delivery.
- Build and maintain senior-level client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Oversee financial performance, pricing strategies, and business modeling to support profitable growth and informed client decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, IT, analytics, and clinical teams to ensure seamless service delivery and issue resolution.
- Monitor client satisfaction, proactively manage escalations, and ensure continuous improvement across the full service lifecycle.
- Identify market trends and competitive insights to support innovation, strategic positioning, and expanded service offerings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in account management, consulting, or client services within healthcare, PBM, insurance, or managed services environments.
- 8+ years of experience in leadership roles managing teams, including senior individual contributors and managers.
- Strong background in strategic account planning, consultative selling, and complex client relationship management.
- Proven ability to analyze financial models, pricing structures, and business performance metrics.
- Deep understanding of healthcare benefits, pharmacy benefits management, or related regulated industries preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with executive-level presence.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities in complex and evolving environments.
