Director of Lifecycle Marketing

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director of Lifecycle Marketing in United States.

This senior individual contributor role focuses on shaping and scaling how millions of users are engaged across the full customer journey, from acquisition through conversion, retention, and long-term loyalty. You will own the lifecycle marketing strategy end-to-end, building sophisticated systems that connect data, product signals, and marketing execution into measurable revenue impact. Operating at the intersection of analytics, automation, and customer experience, you will design scalable journey frameworks that improve engagement, monetization, and lifetime value. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with responsibility for both high-level roadmap definition and detailed campaign optimization. You will partner closely with product, data, and engineering teams to build advanced, trigger-based systems that operate at scale. It is a highly impactful role where your work directly influences growth, revenue, and customer experience across a large digital audience.

Accountabilities:
  • Design and optimize full-funnel lifecycle programs across onboarding, engagement, monetization, retention, and reactivation
  • Build and scale advanced automation systems using behavioral, transactional, and predictive data signals
  • Develop segmentation strategies and journey architectures that personalize user experiences at scale
  • Own lifecycle performance measurement, including attribution models, incremental lift analysis, and revenue impact reporting
  • Lead experimentation strategy across lifecycle programs, including A/B testing and continuous optimization of conversion and engagement metrics
  • Translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Partner with product, data, and engineering teams to enhance lifecycle infrastructure and event-driven marketing capabilities
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve user engagement, retention, and lifetime value through data-driven initiatives
Requirements:
  • 6–10 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, retention, or growth marketing roles with proven revenue impact ownership
  • Strong hands-on experience with Iterable or similar marketing automation platforms, including complex journey building and segmentation
  • Deep analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, diagnose funnel performance, and derive actionable insights
  • Proven ability to operate both strategically and tactically, moving between roadmap planning and campaign execution
  • Experience building and optimizing large-scale, data-driven lifecycle programs in a high-growth or digital environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and clearly present performance insights
  • High ownership mindset with strong execution discipline and ability to prioritize effectively in fast-paced environments
  • Experience working closely with product, data, and engineering teams on lifecycle and automation systems
Benefits:
  • Competitive total cash compensation ranging from $140,000 to $210,000 per year, plus potential equity
  • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match
  • Flexible and remote-friendly work arrangements (East Coast preference, hybrid options available in select hubs)
  • Flexible paid time off policy (20–25 days annually depending on tenure) plus paid holidays
  • Life insurance and short- and long-term disability coverage
  • Flexible spending accounts for healthcare and dependent care
  • Paid parental bonding leave
  • Employee assistance program and wellbeing support resources
  • Opportunity to work on high-scale consumer platforms impacting millions of users.
