Provider Network Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY:
The Provider Network Coordinator provides administrative and coordination support to the Provider Network Director, assisting with provider data maintenance, single case agreements (SCAs), issue tracking, and credentialing activities. This role helps ensure provider information is accurate across systems, supports timely processing of requests, and facilitates communication between internal teams and external providers.
The position plays a key role in maintaining organized documentation, supporting day-to-day provider operations, and ensuring a consistent and responsive experience for providers.
ESSESNTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Single Case Agreements (SCAs) & Contracting Support
- Assist with coordination of single case agreement (SCA) and contract requests from intake through execution.
- Track SCA requests and maintain logs to ensure timely follow-up and completion.
- Support the collection and organization of required documentation for contracting activities.
Provider Data Management
- Maintain and update provider demographic and operational data across internal systems.
- Process routine provider changes, including additions, terminations, TIN updates, address changes, and panel updates.
- Ensure provider directories, portals, and member-facing materials are updated with accurate information.
- Perform routine data checks to identify and correct discrepancies.
Issue Resolution Support
- Serve as an initial point of contact for provider inquiries and route issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g., Claims, Credentialing, Finance).
- Track and follow up on provider issues to support timely resolution.
- Maintain logs of provider inquiries and escalations to identify recurring themes.
Credentialing Support
- Assist with processing provider applications and collecting required documentation.
- Support credentialing and recredentialing activities by maintaining accurate and complete records.
- Track application status and follow up on outstanding items.
Documentation & Compliance Support
- Maintain organized provider records, files, and documentation in accordance with internal standards.
- Assist with preparing documentation for audits and internal reviews.
- Ensure data entry and recordkeeping meet accuracy and timeliness expectations.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate communication between Provider Network, Credentialing, Claims, and other internal departments.
- Support provider-related communications and ensure requests are directed and followed through appropriately.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Maintain trackers, logs, and basic reports related to provider data, SCAs, and issue tracking.
- Assist with scheduling, documentation preparation, and general administrative support for the Provider Network team.
- Support special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2–4 years of administrative or healthcare support experience, preferably in provider relations, credentialing, or healthcare operations
- Experience working with provider data, healthcare systems, or administrative workflows preferred
PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and the minimum state required liability auto insurance.
- Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up to date before engaging in direct participant contact.
