The Senior Program Manager, Network and Infrastructure is a key member of our Operations team, responsible for the planning, installation, and deployment of enterprise-level network infrastructure and services. This role involves leading cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will bridge technical expertise with program management to drive network expansion, modernizations, and upgrades ensuring projects are completed on time and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
This role operates at the program level, managing interdependent projects across multiple workgroups and business functions, with direct accountability for outcomes that affect both internal operations and external customer commitments. The ideal candidate brings a systems-level view of infrastructure delivery — able to manage complexity, dependency, and risk across concurrent initiatives while maintaining clear executive visibility.

Core Responsibilities
- Program management & Execution: Develop, manage, and execute detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for network deployment projects, including hardware/software installation and site rollouts.
- Technical Implementation: Oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Collaboration & Leadership: Coordinate cross-functional teams, including network engineers, service providers, and vendors, to ensure seamless project turnover.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks, create or refine SOPs, and document best practices to increase implementation efficiency.
- Quality Assurance & Risk Management: Monitor project milestones, mitigate risks proactively, and ensure all network installations meet security and performance standards.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior leadership regarding project status, milestones, and budget variances.
- Program Governance: Establish and maintain program-level frameworks for tracking interdependent projects, including dependency mapping, resource conflict resolution, and integrated milestone reporting across workgroups.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of escalation and alignment for internal teams (engineering, operations, support) and external customers during complex, multi-phase deployments. Manage expectations proactively across all stakeholder tiers.
- Executive Reporting: Develop and deliver program-level status reporting to senior leadership, including portfolio health dashboards, risk registers, and budget roll-ups across concurrent initiatives.
- Budget Planning & Management: Work with multiple departments to develop budgets and plans for programs; work with Finance and Stakeholders to verify costs and timing associated with programs and projects.
- Resource & Capacity Planning: Forecast resource demand across programs, identify constraints ahead of conflicts, and drive prioritization decisions when competing needs arise.
- Customer-Facing Delivery Accountability: Should programs impact customers directly, would own any customer project completion milestones, ensuring alignment on scope, schedule, and change management.
Professional Responsibilities
- Maintain clear, professional communication with management and technical teams regarding system status and planned changes (i.e. maintenance notification, IWSP creation and event management).
- Share relevant technical and procedural information with employees and designated user groups accurately and in a timely manner.
- Occasional travel to other company locations may be required for on-site support, infrastructure deployment.
- Manage complex programs with multiple concurrent workstreams and cross-functional dependencies.
- Hold cross-functional teams accountable without direct authority — influencing outcomes through clarity, structure, and trust.
- Develop program governance artifacts: charters, RACI matrices, integrated master schedules, risk registers, program status reports, and necessary communication tools.
- Operate successfully in ambiguity, making sound decisions with incomplete information.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Technical
- Experience with fiber media, optical technologies, or telecommunications switched network provisioning.
- Background in data center operations and network build-outs.
- Proficiency with productivity platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365) and Project management tool Jira.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, systems, and workflows.

- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy.

Education, Experience & Certifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or expertise in lue of degree.
- Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience in enterprise hardware deployment and network operations, with 3–5 years in a leadership or program management capacity.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of network protocols, LAN/WAN infrastructure, and data center environments.
- Project Management Expertise: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (MS Project, Jira, Visio, Lucidchart).
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed to meet departmental objectives; must remain accessible via communication device and coordinate coverage when unavailable.
- Occasional meetings or planning discussions may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Must maintain a professional appearance and clean workspace, including appropriate attire and safety equipment when required.
