Account Executive, Private Equity

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Account Executive, Private Equity in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of enterprise SaaS, financial services, and private markets transformation, offering the opportunity to sell a full platform that combines technology and fund administration services. You will engage with senior decision-makers at private equity firms, helping them modernize complex investment operations and reporting workflows. The environment is fast-paced, consultative, and highly strategic, requiring deep discovery, long-cycle deal management, and strong executive presence. You will own complex sales cycles that involve multiple stakeholders, procurement layers, and technical evaluations. The role offers significant exposure to institutional investors and sophisticated financial workflows, where your ability to translate product value into business impact is critical. This is a high-growth opportunity for an enterprise seller eager to shape a category-defining solution in private markets.

Accountabilities:
  • Drive full-cycle enterprise sales across private equity firms, targeting senior stakeholders such as CFOs, COOs, and Heads of Investor Relations
  • Build and manage multi-quarter pipeline strategy for complex, long-cycle deals with multiple decision-makers
  • Lead consultative discovery processes to understand client workflows and design tailored business cases across software and fund administration services
  • Navigate procurement, legal, security, and compliance processes while maintaining deal momentum
  • Develop and execute account-based strategies, leveraging ecosystem partners such as auditors, consultants, and placement agents to accelerate opportunities
  • Lead executive-level conversations, including product demonstrations and value discussions with institutional stakeholders
  • Coordinate internal teams across sales engineering, product, and implementation to ensure smooth deal execution and transition
Requirements:
  • 4–8 years of B2B full-cycle, quota-carrying sales experience with a strong record of performance
  • Proven success selling into enterprise or upper mid-market organizations with complex buying cycles
  • Experience managing long sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and structured procurement processes
  • Strong background in SaaS, fintech, or professional services sales (or a combination of these)
  • Ability to engage and influence senior executives with confidence and credibility
  • Demonstrated skills in territory planning, pipeline development, and deal execution over multiple quarters
  • Strong understanding of consultative selling methodologies and solution-based positioning
  • Nice to have: experience in private equity, alternative investments, fund administration, or institutional financial services
