Job Overview:
GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Journeyman Millwright to join our Valued Clients team at a carbon capture plant in Squamish, BC. This is a full-time position, ideally suited to an individual with strong mechanical experience in industrial process environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment within a carbon capture facility.

  • Perform maintenance and overhauls on pumps, conveyors, rotary valves, and blowers.

  • Diagnose mechanical issues and complete corrective and preventive maintenance.

  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.

  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations, site procedures, and industry standards.

  • Work collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams to support plant reliability.

Qualifications:

  • Red Seal Journeyman Millwright certification.

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial environment.

  • Proven hands-on experience with pumps, conveyors, rotary valves, and blowers.

  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and alignment skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a safety-sensitive environment.

  • Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in carbon capture, chemical processing, or similar industrial facilities.

  • Chemical industry experience considered a strong asset.

  • Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

Work Environment:

  • Industrial carbon capture plant environment.

  • Combination of indoor and outdoor work.

  • Exposure to rotating equipment, process systems, and industrial noise while adhering to strict safety protocols.
