Beverage Cart/Snack Shack Attendant - Rocky Point Golf Course at Baltimore County Revenue Authority – Essex, Maryland

Rocky Point Golf Course, located in Essex, MD, is seeking a seasonal Beverage Cart/Snack Shack Attendant for the 2026 season. Starting rate is $15.00/hr plus tips You must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends and holidays, with the golf season running through the late Fall (weather permitting).

While working shifts as the Beverage Cart Attendant, you will be responsible for selling food and beverages to guests on the golf course. The position requires driving a golf cart, accurately handle and record monetary transactions, and ensuring the cart is stocked and well maintained.
Specific Duties include:

Interact with customers in a professional, courteous manner Assist customers with food and beverage orders Drive beverage cart adhering to safety standards as required Maintain cleanliness of all work areas Keep sanitation standards above the level set by County Health Department. Build strong relationships with co-workers and guests. Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections, and wine available. Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all policies, procedures, and standards. Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Maintain complete knowledge and strictly abide by state liquor regulations.

While working in the Snack Shack, duties will include:• Fresh food preparation, service and proper cleaning• Handle daily cash and credit card transactions• Assist with maintaining proper inventory levels for all food and beverage products• Maintaining food industry standardsQualifications:• Must be at least 21 years of age as beer and cocktails are sold.• Previous experience in food service• Prior cash handling experience• Excellent customer service and communication skills• Display high and consistent standards in personal appearance• Ability to work with minimal supervision• An interest in the game of golf preferred.
