About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join the facilities team at a premier luxury hotel in Philadelphia. This is a full-time position ideal for a professional who takes pride in maintaining impeccable standards and understands the level of quality expected in a high-end hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and paint interior and exterior surfaces including walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and fixtures throughout the property
Perform surface preparation including sanding, patching, caulking, taping, and priming
Match and mix paint colors to maintain brand standards and design specifications
Apply coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment as appropriate
Perform drywall repairs, touch-ups, and wall covering installation or removal as needed
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times
Coordinate with the engineering and housekeeping teams to schedule work with minimal disruption to guests
Inspect completed work to ensure a flawless finish consistent with luxury property standards
Maintain accurate records of materials used and work completed
Qualifications
2+ years of professional painting experience; hotel or commercial property experience preferred
Strong knowledge of paint types, finishes, and application techniques
Ability to perform drywall repair, surface prep, and color matching
Comfortable working from ladders, scaffolding, and in various conditions
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Must be authorized to work in the United States
