Your responsibilities: As the Corporate Director of Sales, you will be responsible for working directly with the Property Sales Teams to maximize revenues in all outlets and ensure customers have a memorable experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership to the all sales associates. This would include mentoring and development for each position.
  • Oversee the training of new sales associates to ensure they understand our expectations and are acclimated to the company appropriately.
  • Responsible for top line revenues at all properties. This includes performance to prior year and budget.
  • Ensures our properties have at least their RevPAR fair share of the market on the Star reports. No one should be below 100% Index.
  • Assist in the decision making process for groups, LNR rates, and rack rates.
  • Develops and maintains a culture in concert with the Springwood Essentials that promotes teamwork between associates, properties, and corporate staff. It is critical that we have a culture of teamwork between Sales and Operations and not a culture of the two playing against each other. This is measured by management opinion surveys and turnover numbers at the properties.
  • Involved in the human resource aspects of the sales department. This would include terminations, hiring of managers and supervisors, etc.
  • Responsible for the annual top line budgets and sales department budgets for the assigned properties which should be finalized the 1st week of December each year.
  • Develop rapport with investors and 3rd party ownerships by acting as their primary resource in regards to hotel operations. This may be the owner themselves or an asset manager depending on the type of owner.
  • Create a sense of urgency for getting things done throughout the assigned properties. Response time of 24 hours for routine emails and if more urgent the phone should be used.
  • Assist with new properties from a sales perspective as requested.
