Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Location: Southfield, MI (Travel Required Across Clinic Locations)

As we continue to grow across Metro Detroit, we’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Manager to help maintain, standardize, and improve our clinic environments.

What You’ll Do

Facility Oversight & Preventative Maintenance

  • Tour all clinic locations regularly,prioritizing high-volume sites.
  • Conduct thorough inspections ofmechanical rooms, HVAC systems, and emergencyshut-offsto ensure proper functionality and safety.
  • Establish, implement, and maintainpreventative maintenance schedules(HVAC filters, emergency lighting, and other critical systems).
  • Ensure all facilities meet safety, compliance, and operational standards.

Hands-On Maintenance & Repairs

  • Completeminor work orders independently, minimizing reliance on outside vendors.
  • Performbasic electrical work, including replacing fixtures and transitioning lighting to LED.
  • Handle general maintenance tasks such aspatching, painting, flooring touch-ups, and small repairs.
  • Support small-scale improvement projects, includingfacility upgrades and space enhancements.

Operational Efficiency & Cost Control

  • Track and documentvendor costs avoidedby completing work internally.
  • Maintain arunning inventory of commonly used supplies and materials.
  • Assist instandardizing maintenance practices and materials across all clinic locations.

Process Improvement & Systems

  • PerformGemba walksat each site to evaluate operations, identify issues, and document findings.
  • Utilize and become proficient inUNITY (or internal systems)to manage maintenance tickets and workflows.
  • Accurately track and documenttime spent on projects and at each clinic locationto improve efficiency and planning.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Establish and maintain clearcommunication protocols with leadership (Mike, Brittany, Brooke).
  • Provide regular updates on facility conditions, priorities, and completed work.
  • Collaborate with clinic leadership to address operational and facility needs.

Growth & Expansion Support

  • Participate inwalkthroughs of potential new clinic sites, identifying maintenance needs, risks, and opportunities.
  • Provide recommendations onfacility readiness, improvements, and long-term maintenance considerations.
  • Support consistency and scalability as EPIC Health continues to grow.

What You Bring

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience infacility maintenance, preferably in healthcare or multi-site environments.
  • Strong working knowledge ofHVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and perform repairs independently.
  • Experience supporting or managingpreventative maintenance programs.

Skills & Competencies

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Hands-on, proactive problem-solver.
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and competing priorities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Comfortable using maintenance tracking or work order systems.

Preferred

  • Experience inhealthcare or outpatient clinic settings.
  • Familiarity with safety and compliance standards in medical environments.
  • Experience supportingfacility expansion or new site development.
