HOSPITALITY HIRING EVENT

COMMUNICATING EFFECTIVELY IN ENGLISH IS A REQUIREMENT.

Time: 8:30am-11:30am and 1:00pm- 4:00pm

THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS ARE OPEN:

• PORTER/ DISHWASHER
• HOUSEKEEPING
• DRIVER
• COOKS
• SERVERS
• HOUSEKEEPING PORTER
• THERAPEUTIC RECREATION ASSISTANT
• HOMEMAKER

SERVER

• Serves meals to residence and guests in one of our restaurants, with the utmost regard to customer service and sanitary guidelines
• High school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

CULINARY PORTER/ DISHWASHER/COOK

• Maintains kitchen in Kosher manner by assuring separation of meat and dairy foods and equipment. Washes and sanitizes dishes, glassware, plastic ware, and cutlery in the prescribed manner, either manually, via the three compartment sink method, or mechanically, via the dish machine
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

DRIVER

• Reviews daily schedule for accuracy and completeness.
• Assists with boarding and disembarking of residents.
• Maintains vehicle logs.
• Adheres to proper safety procedures while operating facility vehicles.
• Communicates in an effective and courteous manner with all residents, facility personnel and visitors.
• Must have an active Driver’s license, CDL Preferred
• CPR Certification
• First Aide Certification
• CTAA Certification

HOUSKEEPING

• Housekeeper - Cleans resident apartments, public bathrooms, offices, halls, trash rooms, stairways, elevators and other areas by performing the following duties
• Janitor - Cleaning, mopping & vacuuming floors, disinfecting surfaces and restrooms and emptying trash and recycle cans.
• Porter - Gathers and disposes of trash, washes wastebaskets and large refuse containers, and relines with plastic bags.
• High school graduate preferred.
• Previous cleaning experience in a hospital/ Hotel setting preferred.
