Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) - Rehab & Long-Term Care at Corus Health – Albuquerque, New Mexico

Advantage Rehab, part of the Corus Health family of companies, is currently seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to provide restorative care for the residents of Laguna Rainbow Elder Care Center, just outside of Albuquerque in Paraje on the Laguna Pueblo. Responsibilities & Duties:

• Evaluate patient’s level of function by utilizing diagnostic and prognostic procedures
• Developing individual plan of care based on patient's personal goals
• Supervising and directing Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants with regard to patient care
• Creating adaptive devices for use by the patient to achieve their functional therapeutic goals

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in occupational therapy from a university accredited by the Council of Medical Education of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association
• License to practice in the State of New Mexico
• Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, concepts and methodology required of an occupational therapist and its practice application in the treatment of hospice patients at home
• Excellent Communication and documentation skills
• Willingness to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
• Valid New Mexico driver’s license and reliable, insured transportation
