About This Position
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Tender Analyst will play a critical role in Tender/RFQ Management and Pricing for Fracht’s North America operations (Import & Export). This position requires close collaboration with Sales, Procurement, and Operations teams to manage RFQ/Tender requests for key account customers, develop competitive pricing, and drive strategic decisions to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Tender/RFQ Management
- Support the management of the tender process for Fracht’s global key accounts as part of a collaborative team.
- Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, and Pricing teams across the Fracht network to ensure alignment.
- Develop internal timelines and drive the timely completion of each tender.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with all relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor internal and external deadlines associated with each RFQ and ensure compliance.
Sea Freight Pricing
- Assist the Procurement team with RFQ pricing for North America (Imports & Exports).
- Support retention of existing business and generation of new clients through competitive tenders.
- Provide short- and long-term pricing recommendations, performing profitability analysis and suggesting optimal pricing and cargo routing to meet customer requirements.
- Assist Procurement in negotiating buy rates with carrier partners.
- Confirm coverage of quoted import/export sell rates upon official award announcements.
- Prepare routing guides for Fracht offices to ensure proper implementation of incumbent and new awards.
Process Improvement & Analysis
- Prepare case studies to support or challenge the current tender process and execution strategies.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs, mitigate risks, and improve the team’s success rate on tenders.
- Provide input into internal workflow processes based on customer business needs and requirements from tender documents.
EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Undergraduate degree in logistics or related business field.
- Experience with Logistics processes, systems, and solutions.
- Requires a minimum of 2-3 years of logistics experience.
- Self-disciplined, strong leadership and proactive abilities.
- Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills; ability to actively listen and respond to questions with complete and accurate answers
- Effective negotiator and clear communicator of ideas and solutions.
- Excellent team player.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Safely and successfully performs the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods in an office environment, desk setting
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on calls via telephone or Microsoft Teams
