Business Analyst at Sunbird Software Inc. – Sioux Falls, South Dakota

The DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) Business Analyst plays a crucial role in coordinating, organizing, and reporting Sunbird Software's Client Services key performance indicators (KPIs). In addition, this role will maintain the production demo system, onsite data center audits, and assist with operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and consistency of KPIs are delivered to management weekly across all Client Services departments and teams.
• Develop KPI reporting using HubSpot, Jira, Freshdesk, Smartsheet.
• Measure, interpret, and report KPIs on a weekly basis.
• Update and maintain Sunbird's demo system and emerging market trends.
• Ensure completed services SKUs are reported to finance for revenue recognition and monthly reconciliation.
• Support data center audits, including data collection and validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve business processes.
• Assist with process improvements across Support & Services.
• Participate in customer-facing or internal meetings as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience with HubSpot, Jira, Freshdesk, Microsoft Suite.
• Familiarity with Sunbird Software specifically dcTrack and PowerIQ.
• Knowledge of data centers and related operational workflows.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze KPIs and communicate their meaning clearly.
• Demonstrated basic technical knowledge of or ability to quickly learn:
  • Data center IT components and interconnections (servers, Blades/Blade Chassis, network switches, Rack PDUs, etc.)
  • Data center networks and protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, SNMP, Modbus)
  • Structured cabling components and concepts (patch panels, fiber, copper)
  • Data center facilities components (UPS, PDUs, single and 3 Phase Power)
  • Editing and working with AutoCAD and Visio drawings
  • Data center surveys and audits
• Accountability and the ability to adapt/multi-task/manage changing priorities.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• 1-2 years of data center experience.

Work Environment & Expectations

• Hybrid role with minimum 3 days in the Sioux Falls SD office.
• Travel up to 50% for data center audits and related work globally.
• Collaboration with all Client Services team members.
