Experienced Automotive Service Technician at Mills Automotive Group – Willmar, Minnesota

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and efficient diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Guest vehicles
• Complete vehicle inspections and recommend necessary repairs
• Use factory service manuals, scan tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors on repair requirements, timelines, and parts requirements
• Maintain high-quality workmanship and comply with our company, manufacturer, and safety standards
• Keep service bays clean, organized, and safe
• Participate in ongoing training and certification programs
• Provide exceptional Guest service and uphold the dealership’s reputation for quality

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician, preferably in a dealership setting
• Experience with our franchise brand is a plus
• Strong diagnostic abilities and proficiency with scan tools
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

The workdays for this position are Monday through Friday, with a rotational Saturday. Our facilities are always closed on Sunday, and on designated Holidays throughout the year.

This position is paid a Flat Rate for each hour produced and additional earned incentives on top of the Flat Rate pay. The starting Flat Rate range for this position is $19.00 – $28.00+ and will be evaluated based upon relevant skills, training, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. The additional incentives are an additional production Incentive and a Guest/Customer Service Incentive, both based upon performance.
