LPN various shifts PT/FT at Longview, an Ithacare Community – Ithaca, New York

Schedule: Full-time days 6:45a-3:15p, evenings 2:45p-11:15p, or overnights 10:45p-7:15a (40/30/20 hrs/wk), consistent schedule

Compensation: $28.00-$34.75 per hour depending on shift and commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for dispensing mediations and treatments to residents according to physician orders and policy and procedure;

· Charting and paperwork for medication documentation, incident reports, and more;

· Support, guide, supervisor, and mentor Medication and Resident Aides, fostering a team culture that delivers compassionate, consistent, high-quality care;

· Assist with completing care plans

• At least 18 years of age;
• Hold a current New York State LPN license in good standing;
• One (1) year of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a medical or healthcare setting;
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills including good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities;
• Experience working with older adults preferred;
• Able to push, pull, lift, and carry trays of food, laundry bags, heavy boxes, and/or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds without restrictions;
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, frequently bending, stooping, and reaching;
• Satisfactory completion of post-offer, pre-employment physical required.
